Submit a Nomination for the NNPBC Nursing Awards
The deadline to submit nominations was February 27, 2026. Nominations are now closed.
Celebrating nursing professionals and their contributions to health and wellness in BC, nurses of all four designations are eligible to self-nominate or be nominated in any category. The following is an overview of award nomination requirements:
- All nominations must be submitted via the nomination form, which includes an impact statement section
- Nominations must include two to five references*, with the exception of the Legacy of Nursing Award which requires three to six references
- Several awards — Clinical Impact, Educator’s Impact, Innovation & Inquiry, Inspire to Lead, Primary Care Champion, Voice for Change and Wisdom in Wellness — are open to team nominations
- Three awards have additional requirements:
- The Future of Nursing Award requires proof of enrolment
- The Legacy of Nursing Award requires a portfolio/CV
- The Planetary Health Champion Award requires active membership with the Canadian Association of Nurses for the Environment (CANE)
- Please familiarize yourself with the full criteria for each award category

*Written or audio/video recorded references are required. Contacts (phone number, email address) with no written/recorded reference will not be accepted. A single reference letter signed by two or more referees will count as two references.
